International visitors to Georgia in Q3 2025 and Q3 2026: overnight and same-day

The meeting, attended by Batumi Mayor Giorgi Tsintsadze and the head of the Adjara government Zurab Pataradze, also covered infrastructure projects, service quality, joint tour packages and the promotion of mountainous Adjara abroad and at home, Batumi City Hall reported.

Overnight visitors are growing nationally

National figures point the same way. In the third quarter of 2026 Georgia received 2.24 million international visitors, 3.1% more than a year earlier, according to Geostat. Visitors who stayed at least one night rose by about 4.7% to 1.83 million, while same-day visitors fell by about 4.2%.

Why it matters for property owners

For apartment owners in Batumi, the low season is the weak point of short-term rental income. Events and a working ski resort in the mountains of Adjara can help fill the calendar. Owners should still plan for lower winter occupancy and compare their own booking data, not only regional totals.
